I’m All The Talk defeated a number of classy rivals to record a dominant victory in a barrier trial at Warwick Farm this morning.

I’m All The Talk contested the fourth barrier trial of the morning over 808 metres on a very heavy track at Warwick Farm and he missed the start slightly before quickly taking up the running at the 650 metre mark.

The Stratum entire was kept under a heavy hold by jockey Winona Costin, but he was still able to kick away from the rest of the field coming around the turn and he maintained that gap to record a comfortable five lengths victory from Va Pensiero and Barbed.

I’m All The Talk was making his first public appearance since he finished ninth behind Bel Sprinter and Miracles Of Life in the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint (1100m) at Caulfield on October 18 and will likely have one more race start before returning to the races.

Va Pensiero has not been seen at the races since he finished fifth in the Listed Gosford Guineas (1200m) in April of last year, but produced a forward effort to finish the trial in second position, while Barbed was given a soft trial following his disappointing effort in the Listed Takeover Target Stakes (1200m) at Gosford on January 9.

Arabian Gold was having her first barrier trial since she failed to fire in the Group 1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) at Caulfield on October 11 and she will likely have two more barrier trials before she starts her autumn campaign in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens on March 14.

The Chris Waller-trained duo of Arinosa, Who Shot Thebarman and He’s Your Man rounded out the barrier trial and they were given a very quiet trial before finishing at the tail of the field.

Who Shot Thebarman has not been seen at the races since his most impressive third place finish in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup (3200m) at Flemington on November 4 and will likely have another trial before he begins a Sydney Cup campaign, while races like the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) at Royal Randwick on April 4 and the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at the same venue a week later could both be on the agenda for He’s Your Man.
