The highly anticipated Magic Millions 3YO Guineas 2025, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been rescheduled for Friday evening, January 17th, at the Gold Coast. Heavy rainfall forced the abandonment of the majority of the Magic Millions race day on Saturday, leading to the decision to hold the remaining seven races under the lights on Friday.

Snitzanova Remains the Favourite

Ciaron Maher‘s talented filly, Snitzanova, remains the firm favourite at $6.50 in Magic Millions 3YO Guineas betting through Ladbrokes. The Sandown Guineas winner has been impressive in her recent starts and is expected to be a strong contender. However, the rescheduled race adds another layer of intrigue to the already competitive field.

Other Key Contenders:

  • Bauhinia: This talented filly from the Lee & Cherie Curtis stable will need to overcome a wide barrier draw (18) but possesses the ability to overcome the challenge.
  • Tuileries: Peter Snowden’s runner, Tuileries, is also a contender, although the wide draw (barrier 23) will be a significant challenge.

A Night of Thrilling Racing

The rescheduled Magic Millions 3YO Guineas will be a highlight of the Friday night program. With a competitive field and a thrilling under-lights atmosphere, the race promises to be a spectacle for racing fans.

Key Considerations:

  • Track Conditions: The track condition will be crucial for all runners with the Gold Coast still at a Heavy (8) at time of publish but a clearer forecast for the next few days.
  • Barrier Draws: The wide draws for some of the leading contenders could significantly impact their chances.
  • Late Moves: Expect late betting moves as punters assess the final field and track conditions.

The 2025 Magic Millions 3YO Guineas will be run as Race 5 at 7:45pm (AEST) on Friday evening. Stay tuned for further updates and analysis as the race day approaches.
