Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi is one of four James Cummings trained fillies among the nominations for Saturday’s Group 2 $200,000 Darley Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) at Randwick.

Kiamichi scored an all the way win in the Group 1 $3.5m Longines Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill during the 2019 Sydney Autumn Carnival but was then beaten at her next two starts.

The Sidestep filly then ran third to stablemate and Golden Slipper runner up Microphone in the Group 1 $1m Inglis Sires’ (1400m) at Randwick on Day One of The Championships before finishing last of ten in the Group 2 $1m Camera House Percy Sykes Stakes (1200m) at Randwick a week later.

Kiamichi was then sent for a spell and has had two barrier trials at Rosehill for a second and win in preparation for her return to the racetrack.

Kiamichi’s stablemates that are also entered for the Silver Shadow Stakes are Flit, Athiri and Tenley.

Chris Waller has entered three new season three-year-olds for the Silver Shadow Stakes, all of which have found the winner’s stall during their juvenile year.

Catwalk was a Randwick 1000m winner on June 8, Lucicello had wins on the Kensington track and at Rosehill while former Kiwi trained filly Subpoenaed was a winner in New Zealand at her only start before being transferred to Waller’s stables.

Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott have nominated last start Canterbury maiden winner Mistress Mouse while Ciaron Maher and David Eustace have entered unbeaten filly Kooweerup.

Nominations for the 2019 Silver Shadow Stakes have extended until 11am on Tuesday, August 20, while the final field will be released on Wednesday, August 21.
