Sydney trainer Gerald Ryan has confirmed his dual acceptors for this Saturday will both start at Rosehill Racecourse.
Both Hollyweird and Hide ‘N’ Dash were accepted for races as far away as Brisbane but kind weather conditions have meant they can stay put in New South Wales.
Hollyweird will run in the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes, a race promising to be a big test against the likes of Foxwedge and Magic Millions champion Karuta Queen.
Ryan says he’ll be hoping the clear skies remain above Sydney right up until Saturday.
“There was rain forecast for Sydney and she’s not much good on wet tracks but that looks to have cleared up,” he said.
Hide ‘N’ Dash meanwhile will run in a Benchmark 80 handicap across 1400m.
She faces a field of 13 with big challenges set to come from Iron Lace, Beg and Bidden.
“She’ll stay in Sydney for the same reason (dry weather),” Ryan said.
“Struggling for a bit of form, at Rosehill it’s not good but saying that she’s been running on wet tracks which doesn’t suit her either
It makes a team of four for Ryan who also has Break Card in the fourth and Tidalzone in the last.
