Grand New Zealand mare Silent Achiever collected her third Group 1 from as many starts with a convincing win in the Group 1 $1.5m The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill today.

And Nash Rawiller made it two wins from two rides on Silent Achiever after winning the Group 1 $500,000 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill two weeks ago.

The Roger James trained mare also scored at Group 11 level at her the previous start with Vinnie Colgan in the Group 1 NZ$200,000 Lindauer New Zealand Stakes (2000m) at Ellerslie on March 8.

James now has to decide if he steps up in distance again and goes onto the Group 1 $1m Schweppes Sydney Cup (3200m) at Randwick on April 19 or freshens her up and brings her back to the 2000m of the Group 1 $4m Queen Elizabeth Stakes on the same day.

“It was a great field and she was better than them,” an emotional James said.

“She beat them fair and square really.”

“I’m a great believer that when you’ve got options you take them and we will be in no hurry. We will see where everybody else is going and how she comes through the race and make the right decision hopefully.”

Silent Achiever was able to make amends for her winless Autumn carnival last year and go one better after a narrow defeat behind Fiveandahalfstar in The BMW.

Rawiller is riding in outstanding form with Silent Achiever being his third win for the day from the first six races.

The leading Sydney jockey tracked the pace on the O’Reilly mare in fifth spot and was ready to pounce on the leaders when heads were turned for home.

Ryan Maloney on Sertorius led the field into the straight but couldn’t hold off the strong finish of Silent Achiever ($3.80) who was strong to the line on the heavy track with It’s A Dundeel ($5) doing his best work at the finish to be one and three quarter lengths away second with $3.50 favourite Fiorente in third spot along the inside.
