Waller has Life Less Ordinary, Shillelagh, I Am Serious and Unforgotten still in contention for the feature Randwick Mile on Day One of The Championships and could have five runners if borderline contender Ringerdingding sneaks into the final twenty horse field.

“Life Less Ordinary fresh-up, Shillelagh, I Am Serious and Unforgotten are our definite four runners in the Doncaster,” Waller told AAP.

“Ringerdingding will try to get in if he can make the field as well.”

Waller has won five more Doncaster Miles since claiming his first with Triple Honour in 2008 with Rangirangdoo (2010), Sacred Falls (2013, 2014), Kermadec (2015) and Winx (2016).

Last year’s Australian Oaks winner Unforgotten is the most fancied of the Waller runners in Doncaster Mile betting at Ladbrokes.com.au at $13 ahead of Shillelagh at $21, Ringerdingding at $31, I Am Serious at $41 and Life Less Ordinary at $67.

Unforgotten will be dropping back to the 1600m following a well beaten fourth behind Avilius in the Group 1 $700,000 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on March 23.

Shillelagh has only been placed once from four starts during her 2019 Autumn Carnival campaign when second two starts back to Harlem in the Group 1 $1.5m Australian Cup (2000m) at Flemington on March 9 and will head into the Doncaster Mile on the back of a tenth in the Ranvet Stakes.

I Am Serious was also well beaten at her most previous outing when fourteenth in the Group 1 $600,000 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill on March 16 while Life Less Ordinary will be going into the Doncaster Mile first up, not having started since running third in the Group 3 Summer Cup (2000m) at Randwick on Boxing Day last year.
