Treasurethe Moment is the dominant favourite in the rescheduled 2025 Vinery Stud Stakes at Rosehill on Tuesday, with Matt Laurie‘s filly aiming for her seventh consecutive victory.

The VRC Oaks champion has maintained her impressive form this autumn, securing back-to-back Group 2 wins leading up to the $750,000 Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) on Tancred Stakes Day.

The consistent daughter of Alabama Express boasts a record of seven wins from nine starts, including a 2.25-length victory in the Group 2 Kewney Stakes at Flemington on March 8.

She will be racing outside of Melbourne for the first time, with Damian Lane retaining the ride from barrier five.

“Treasurethe Moment is out to complete the Kewney / Vinery Stud Stakes double for the first time since Faint Perfume back in 2010!” a racing expert from Races.com.au stated.

Treasurethe Moment is heavily favoured in the Vinery Stud Stakes betting markets, priced at $1.55 on Ladbrokes.

She is expected to complete the Kewney Stakes/Vinery Stud Stakes double before targeting the Group 1 ATC Oaks at Randwick on April 12.

“The bookies and punters are not at all concerned about this being her first run the Sydney way with Treasurethe Moment absolutely dominating Vinery Stud Stakes odds online at $1.55 through Ladbrokes,” a betting expert noted.

The nine-filly field also includes Chris Waller‘s Declichy Boulevard ($7.50), who is chasing her first win since her maiden victory in June last year.

She enters the race after a third-place finish in the Group 2 Phar Lap Stakes.

“The Vinery Stud Stakes field features a small but class line-up of nine fillies with the other best in betting being the Chris Waller trained Declichy Boulevard ($7.50),” a racing analyst reported.

Waller, who has a strong record in the race having prepared three winners, also saddles up Kiwi expats Movin Out ($8) and Real Class ($19).

Benagil ($9.50), now trained by Glen Thompson out of Flemington, is another single figure Vinery contender, coming off a win in the VOBIS Platinum Guineas at Caulfield.

Verona Rose ($12), trained by Gary Portelli, represents potential value, having won the Group 3 Kembla Grange Classic with Kerrin McEvoy riding from gate six.

The rescheduled 2025 Vinery Stud Stakes is scheduled for Rosehill Race 6 at 3:30pm (AEDT) on Tuesday.
