The Peter and Paul Snowden trained  colt Remorseless can join his stablemates Strike and Sancy in Magic Millions 2yo Classic calculations with a win in the $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2yo Classic (1100m) at Wyong on Thursday.

Last Saturday’s Rosehill winner Sancy is number 6 in the order of entry for the $2m The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2yo Classic (1200m) at the Gold Coast on January 11 with Strike at number 11 while Remorseless is way down the list and needs a significant prizemoney boost to put himself in contention for the glamour 2yo contest.

Strike and Sancy are both winners at their only race starts but Remoresless was a well beaten 6th in a 1000m Eagle Farm 2yo Plate on October 5 and the Wyong 2yo Classic’s first prizemoney of $109,350 would put him safely into the Magic Millions 2yo Classic field at the Gold Coast.

“Remorseless had that one run in Brisbane and was a bit disappointing but he has come on a lot since,” Peter Snowden told Racenet.

“Strike won in Brisbane and his trial was very good here last week. He has come on again since.

“It will be a solid race, but what (Strike) has got is good gate speed which is a plus at Wyong.

“It looks like a fast run race with Farnan coming out on Saturday and Mark Newnham’s horse (Every Rose).”

Strike looks to be safely in the field for the Magic Millions 2yo Classic at the Gold Coast with $67,200 in prizemoney from his win in a 1000m 2yo Handicap at Eagle Farm on October 12 and the Spirit Of Boom colt is also lining up in the Wyong 2yo Classic.

Sancy was strong at the end of the 1100m in a 2yo Plate at Rosehill last Saturday and pocketed $80,500 for her wining effort.

“She is very professional and always has been from day one. It was good to see her do everything right today (Saturday) and win like she did. I think there is a good bit of upside to her,” Peter Snowden said.

“We are lucky to have some nice two-year-olds this year and they have been trialling well and doing it at the races.”

Remorselss is marked at $15 at Ladbrokes.com.au in the seven horse Wyong 2yo Classic field while Strike is in contention at $6 behind Every Rose at $2.10, Rathlin at $4 and Farnan at $4.40.
