The 2019 Phar Lap Stakes is a Group 2 contest raced annually at Rosehill Racecourse late in March. The event is for three year olds and is held across a trip of 1500m under set weight conditions.

The Phar Lap Stakes is scheduled on the same card as the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Classic and then Group 1 Ranvet Stakes.
There are a huge number of options for horses continuing on after this with everything from the Group 1 Doncaster Handicap to the Group 1 AJC Australian Derby having been targeted in the past.
