The track also features another two level stand that is open to all members of the public. The first floor is home to a large public bar and betting facilities, while the second floor is fully air-conditioned and enclosed.

Gosford racecourse is best suited to horses that can run on the speed and sprint to a winning break at the top of the straight. Races are run in a clockwise direction and the track has a circumference of 1710 metres and a straight that is 250 metres long.
