Dual Group 1 winner Miracles Of Life will retire on a winning note if connections decide to send her to the breeding barn after winning the Group 1 $400,000 William Hill Classic (Registered as Robert Sangster Stakes) (1200m) at Morphettville last Saturday.
Co-trainer Paul Snowden, who trains in partnership with his father Peter, said that they would be have discussions with the owners Stonestreet Stables in the next twenty-four hours to sort out her furture.
“It is going to be spoke about in the next twenty-four hours,” Paul Snowden told Racing Ahead.
“My gut feels in saying that she probably has run her last race.”
“We are keen to sought out where her future lies.”
Snowden was in brief contact with the American owners on Saturday as the ‘Pocket Rocket’ stormed home to beat Gregers in the fillies and mare’s Group 1 but said they were heavily committed at the Kentucky Derby meeting at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.
“Yesterday was the Kentucky Derby on over there, the owners were well represented in the Derby and other races so we didn’t have too much contact with them yesterday,” Snowden said.
“But they listen to the race on the phone as they do. We just relay commentary basically to them on the phone back home in America and they certainly loved it.”
Miracles Of Life is back in Melbourne at the moment and will head back to Snowden’s stables at Randwick on Tuesday.
“She back in Melbourne at the moment, she travelled back up (to Sydney) on Tuesday night.”
Miracles Of Life started her career as a two year old in Adelaide and under the care of Morphettville trainer Daniel Clarken the Not A Single Doubt filly was able to win her first two starts on her home track before heading to Melbourne to win the Listed $120,000 Blue Diamond Preview for Fillies (1000m) at Caulfield before winning the 2013 Group 1 $1m Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield.
Snowden said it was a great thrill to take her back to her home track to win another Group 1 race.
“Very satisfying win to take her back over there where it all started for her,” Snowden said.
Miracles Of Life has won eight of her seventeen starts and has earned over $1.5 millon in prizemoney.
