Hugh Bowman gave Invincibella ($4.40) the perfect ride and after settling midfield, pounced on Manicure at the fifty metres mark to record a well deserved win over the $2.50 favourite.

$61 outsider Magic Albi raced in the leading division and battled on in the straight to fill third spot.

Winning trainer Chris Waller said that Invincibella has plenty of class about her and deserved her back to back wins in the Magic Millions Fillies & Mares.

“Prior to the race we had a few concerns. There were some handy horses in the race,” Waller said.

“Hugh Bowman gave her a lovely ride from a good barrier and the small margin between the first and the second was the difference in the finish.”

“To get a nice run, everything else is out of your control.”

“She has got a bit of class so it was good to see her get the upper hand over the last 50m.”

Bowman said that the 1300m of the Magic Millions Fillies & Mares was Invincibella’s perfect distance.

“It is her perfect distance actually,” Bowman said.

“She is not at her best at 1200m and 1400m is a bit far to see her at her best.”
