Cellsabeel shot to the top of the betting for the Group 1 $3.5m Longines Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill on March 21 after scoring a six lengths win in an 1100m two year old Handicap at Rosehill on January 18.

“She’s en route to the Slipper and she looked to do that pretty easy,” Maher told Sky Thoroughbred Central after her Rosehill victory.

“Right from the start – just look at the coat on her – she’s always dappled up, even when she comes in from the paddock.

“She’s always been a real high-quality horse that we just put the shades (blinkers) on to give her that little focus and it was just the trick she needed.”

Ladbrokes.com.au have Cellsabeel a clear cut $5.50 Golden Slipper favourite ahead of the Blue Diamond Preview (C&G) winner Hanseatic at $10 and the Peter and Paul Snowden trained Dame Giselle at $12.

Cellsabeel is one of three Ciaron Maher and David Eustace trained juveniles among the twenty-five Inglis Millennium nominations and is joined by stablemates Masseuse and Muntaseera.

Muntaserra is also the winner of an 1100m Rosehill two year old Handicap in November while Masseuse is yet to face the starter.

Leading trainer Chris Waller has two juveniles nominated for the Inglis Millennium, Osamu and Tight Ropes while James Cummings has one entry with Geelong Maiden winner Marnix.
