The Offer will gallop alongside Travolta over 1200 metres following the third race at Rosehill Gardens this weekend as he builds up to the start of his 2014 Spring Racing Carnival campaign.

The imported stayer was sent to the spelling paddock at the end of his 2014 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival preparation that concluded with three straight wins in the Group 3 Manion Cup (2400m), Group 2 Chairman’s Handicap (2600m) and Group 1 Sydney Cup (3200m).

Waterhouse is yet to decide the exact path that The Offer will following during the 2014 Spring Racing Carnival, but the Montjeu gelding is expected to do most of his racing in Melbourne and will be set for both the Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) and Group 1 Melbourne Cup (3200m).

Travolta returned to racing in the Listed Mercedes Benz Centenary Mile (1600m) at Eagle Farm on June 21 and finished a credible seventh behind Kingdoms after tiring in the final stages of the race.

Talented filly Sweet Idea will also take part in an exhibition gallop at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday and will work alongside Queenstown after the fourth race.

Sweet Idea stamped herself as one of the best fillies in Australia with three straight wins in the Wyong Magic Millions Stakes (1200m), Magic Millions Guineas (1400m) and Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) before failing to fire in the Group 2 Surround Stakes (1400m) at Warwick Farm on March 8.

The Snitzel filly returned to her best form in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens on March 22 and was only narrowly denied a maiden victory at the highest level of racing by Steps In Time.

Sweet Idea was sent to the spelling paddock after finishing ninth in the Group 1 T.J. Smith Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick on April 12, but has returned to work ahead of her four-year-old spring campaign.

Queenstown started her winter preparation in the Octagonal Handicap (1400m) at Rosehill Gardens on May 31 and finished with two and a half lengths of the winner in the Mercedes Benz Centenary Mile.

The Offer is currently available at 2014 Melbourne Cup odds of $13 in the betting market with Ladbrokes Australia.
