The field for the 2018 Listed $150,000 Schweppes Tasmanian Derby (2200m) at Hobart today remains intact on race morning.

Seven three-year-olds will line up in the Tasmanian Derby on a good 4 rated track with the Darren Weir trained Civil Disobedience dominating the betting at $1.75 with Ladbrokes.com.au.
Civil Disobedience is the winner of three of his last five starts in restricted class and will jump from the inside gate with John Allen in the saddle again.
The Raise The Flag colt broke through for his maiden win over 1600m at Bendigo on November 14 and has since won a 2000m BenchMark 64 Handicap at Mornington and a 2000m BenchMark 70 Handicap at Flemington.
Allen was aboard Civil Disobedience last start for a third at Flemington again in a similar class over the same distance on January 20.
On the second line of betting at $4.50 is the favourite’s stablemate Wolfendale who has drawn barrier three with Dean Yendall to ride.
Wolfendale is chasing a hat trick after winning a 2025m BenchMark 64 Handicap at Cranbourne and the Listed $100,000 Kevin Sharkie Hobart Guineas (2100m) at Hobart on January 28.
The lightly raced Kugelblitz is also well in commission on race morning at $4.60 and the three year old from the Cranbourne stables of Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young was an impressive winner at his second race start in a 2030m Werribee Maiden on January 13.
